In April 2018 Raw Alchemy Theatre Company held a Fundraiser Showcase at the Vaults in Cirencester to raise money for their up coming show ‘Chatroom’ By Enda Walsh at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The profits from the show were split 50/50 with the company and Samaritans, a charity that connected very strongly with the themes in the play.

During the evening Raw Alchemy entertained a pack audience with; stand up comedy, musical theatre, monologues, duologues, singing and so much more.

Thanks to our wonderful audience we were able to raise more than we could have expected. As a result we were able to donate more to the Samaritans and get us one step closer to getting to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Due to our time spent exploring the themes in Chatroom, Samaritans felt like a charity that we wanted to support during our fundraising. After each performance of Chatroom we used it as a time to make people aware of charities like this.
